| I started school,
Grade One, at the Colony school, in 1941. I am in the two bottom
pictures, The last picture must have been taken on or just after
1941 - judging by my apparent age in the picture. I left the
colony in 1948 after completing grade seven. Several of my
classmates and I ended up in the same school in North Bay - when
many families moved there in the late '40s.
