We celebrated our 40th anniversary 
on this trip.

   The goal was to be at the RUBY Campground in Bryce Canyon National Park on the 9th of November. After that, we meandered all over. The list of milestones is below.

Trip Highlights:

  • Down Interstate 15 and through Salt Lake City.

  • Family History Library in Salt lake City

  • Bryce Canyon and Ruby campground for our 40th anniversary

  • Glen Canyon and the Glen Canyon dam

  • Camping on the rim of the Grand Canyon

  • Explored Arizona as far south as Tucson. In Arizona we visited two major aviation museums, Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson and the Champlin Fighter Museum in Phoenix.

  • San Diego and the trolley to Balboa Park and the Zoo

  • Los Angeles (Universal Studios),

  • Las Vegas

  • Death Valley; camped there for the first time

  • Yosemite National Park

  • San Francisco (City tour)

  • Returning home on Highway 1 along the coast.
